Miami Beach Police Department/Gift of Life Pickle Ball Tournament
This Letter to the Mayor and City Commission is to advise you that on April 11, 2024, from 2 PM-
8:30 PM, the Miami Beach Police Department will host a Pickle Ball Tournament with the Gift of
Life at the Miami Beach Golf Club located at 2301 Alton Road.
The Gift of Life's mission is to cure cancer through cellular therapy. The purpose of the event is
to spread awareness and engage the public about blood cancer.
At the completion of the tournament, the community will witness the first-time meeting of a donor
and recipient while learning how to save a life by joining the registry. This is a call for action by
encouraging individuals to complete a swab.
There will also be a live auction of photographs that have been taken by our own Assistant Chief
David De La Espriella.
